Swinging into fall(already!), isn’t it about time to give up that gas guzzling, environmentally damaging, shaken laded vehicle and go for a road bike??!!??  I came into the store, today and was pleasantly surprised by the new 2021 CANNONDALE CAAD 13 Disc 105 model.  Last year, I questioned the smaller lettering virtually making the Cannondale a mujirushi type brand look.  This year, they went back to large lettering for their new models and wow, does this one look great!!

It is designed with Rapha bicycle clothing’s collaboration with EF Pro Cycling, and Cannondale.  The very familiar pinkish/purple and dark blue design of Rapha’s distinctive race look for EF is awesome.  Today, EF Pro Cycling’s Dani Martinez won stage 13 at the Tour de France.  Quite an accomplishment for EF and Cannondale!!

Cannondale has taken the Rapha look, named the CAAD13 model painted in its design, and boy oh boy, does this bicycle look sharp!! Beautiful dark blue with gradated pink/purple logo of the EF Pro Cycling team, I can honestly say it blew me away when I saw it.  Talk about a design 180, it looks like a completely different bicycle than last year’s CAAD 13, yet, the frame is the same.  It is equipped with Shimano 105 derailleurs and disc brakes with an FSA new crank, with Vittoria Zaffiro Pro tires.

The white big letters of Cannondale is back on the down tube, looking like Cannondale, again!!  I love it!  The Rapha is priced at 230,000 yen +TAX.  Our stock is a size 51.  The iconic top aluminum construction of the CAAD is legendary in its lightness and function, being a bicycle  competitive with carbon bicycles in speed and endurance!  Come see the new Rapha, here at Y’s Road Chigasaki at Southern Beach!! We look forward to seeing you!!! 😀
