Chigasaki Style: Kabuto Vitt Rainbow love!

Hope Golden Week is relaxing and fun for all!  At Y’s Road Chigasaki, we are open thru Golden Week from 10:00 a.m., including our usual off day on Tuesday, tomorrow. Kabuto has a new line of helmets patterned after the popular Aero R-1 helmets, with shield.  The new Vitt is a more affordable version, with the same safety and quality standard of the R-1.  With a visor change from the original packaged one, rainbow’s happen!!

It is a great looking helmet and priced at a great performance cost of 13000 yen+TAX, including a smoke colored visor.  I bought a Vitt, and elected to also get a Kabuto ARS-3 shield, an accessory which fits the Kabuto shield helmet series, including the Aero R-1 Aero V-1 and Vitt.  The shield is a blue mirror color, which sells for 7000+TAX.  It is lighter in weight and  more flexible than the smoke colored visor packaged with the helmet, and comes in various colors such as Pink Mirror, smoke and clear and there is a photochromatic version as well as gold mirror and silver mirror, that go for 10000+TAX. 

The blue mirror reflects light in a rainbow array of colors, making it look awesome on the helmet.  It’s also functionally efficient, and can be worn over eye glasses, quite comfortably.  In fact, the main reason I have chosen this model of helmet is the visor, which allows for protection from the wind and sun, giving better viewing.  I chose the blue mirror which gives a cool outlook on life! 🙂
