Giant says: Professionals know using a power meter is the best way to gain metrics for training.  The data given by direct force shows the real output from every pedal stroke.  Giant has created the all new Power Pro, a dual sided power meter developed exclusively by Giant that provides accurate and stable power data for all, in collaboration with Shimano Ultegra(R8000) cranks. 

 

 

 

Key performance factors are IPX7 waterproofing and featuring an integrated magnetic rechargeable design. It delivers up to 100 hours of riding on a single charge. An LED indicator on the crank arm mounted pro displays the battery level, or you can read it on the Giant RideLink app.  It is easily charged with a USB cable connection, taking 2 hours for a full charge.

 

 

 

 

 

With multi axis left and right crank arm sensors, it provides vital information including power in watts, pedal balance, force angle and cadence, all without being affected by surrounding environment.

 

 

 

 

Power Pro requires no magnet and is fully bluetooth smart/ANT+ compatible.  An upgrade from Ultegra 6800 is possible because the BB size is compatible for the Power Pro Ultegra R8000 crank.  Check with us for possible installation on your bike for any compatibility issues.  Sizes of crank length are 165mm, 170mm, 172.5mm and 175mm.  50×34 or 52×36.  Currently in stock, here at Y’s Road Chigasaki, is a 170 mm 52 x 36.  The price is 100000 yen +TAX!!
