CHIGASAKI STYLE**Brompton S6L Flame Beauty!!

At Y’s Road Chigasaki we have a stock of folding bicycles including Tyrell, Duhon and the standard of foldies, the Brompton.

 

 

 

Brompton has been hailed by CNN as one of 20 designed products that define the modern world.  The original design in 1979 is the basic template for 2019 Brompton’s!  In crowded Japan, the Brompton is by far the most efficient, smallest folding, high energy ride among folding bicycles!!

 

 

We have a beautifully flame colored lacquer finished bike, the Brompton S6L flat handle, shown here.   It is a 6 geared bicycle and rides very well.  Owning one myself, I know how good the Brompton is as the best all around folding bicycle, and find it particularly useful in Japan, where riding trains to destinations and then seeing places on a Brompton is both enlightening and fun.  

 

 

 

The Brompton S6L sells for 225000 yen +TAX, with 22500 points on the Y’s Road card, good for any product within our store, when bought with cash.  Yesterday we had an event at Southern Beach, the annual Chigasaki hanabi taikai, which was postponed from a windy August day.   Here are a few pics, from our deck at Y’s Road Chigasaki, of the scenic fireworks set off on a cement wave breaker about 120 yards from the beach.
